OH!! Mruin - WHAT ABOUT HIM? Why is he so reticent to be near the ladies? Is it really because he is in the “girls have cooties” stage (although a little (LOT) scarier for the Gandry equivalent considering Grasta’s boy-toy) guess his fears make perfect sense… but still, will he get a book of his own? I SURE HOPE SO!! *Sighs wistfully* If no other books are written in this series it will be a crying shame – but I really, really, enjoyed revisiting the world, and Moira’s group was SO DIFFERENT – Kranu is incredibly removed from Gron’s character (which he was from the beginning, but even being a male after a female, it wasn’t like he pulled an insta-prince-360.) Troii’s character, despite the fact he was as easy going as Gron, was an entirely different creature from Gron: honestly, hats off at the character development, no cookie-cutting here. …WILL THERE BE GANDRY-HUMAN BABIES? After the investment T-Lax’s team put into bringing a human (rounding the count up to two AS FAR AS WE KNOOOOW… HE COULD HAVE BROUGHT MORE, YEAH? Maybe he dumped them at different points to catch males wandering for a tribe?) it would be nice for them to be successful – not that we care about T-Lax but he *wont* invest time in stealing more poor unaware women who don’t know that they want a wonderful, sweet, completely devoted alien of their very own to adopt them in the primitive alien wilds if the Gandry aren’t compatible with them so… fingers crossed for future stories with “breeding program success” =)Īlso, I feel bad for Ruth that she is hurting, now afraid that she will never have children of her own and extra hurting, fearing that she has sealed Gron’s fate as childless now too.

Lancaster could walk away and work on a new project (which would be great, no doubt!) but I hope she revisits our favorite Gandry tribe and gives us updates on everyone and… ****SPOILER QUESTION, DON’T READ ON IF YOU HAVEN’T FINISHED THE BOOK******

One reviewer said they felt “deeply satisfied” with this book and its ending and I have to agree. I even woke up a little early so that I could get just that much more of the book in before I had to start my day MAN I LOVE A GOOD STORY. Did I sacrifice three hours of sleep anyway? Yes I did. The answer is, of course, YES – great job, Lancaster!!! Just as in previous books, there were lines that made me laugh out loud, the book events kept up such a pace that I had a hard (read: A BATTLE) time putting it down, and there was this thing called work plus life demands that kept making me do it. I WAS SO HAPPY TO LOG ON AND SEE BOOK 3 RELEASED YAAAAAAY!! After Book 2, Gron’s Fated, readers were very excited to see what this new heroine would be like, and maybe the biggest expectation of all: Could Kranu shape up and quit being a jerk?! After Ruth’s Bonded I was thoroughly, deliciously hooked on VC Lancaster’s work.
